Introduction

The Interwrite/eInstruction School Pad and Mobi are tablet systems that feature the patented

digitizer and pen-input technology. These Pads are used with the Workspace software on a PC

or a Mac to remotely control the computer by running applications, opening and editing files,

and annotating captured screen images and pages in a presentation file. The versatile,

interactive Pad allows you to control the presentation from anywhere in the room.

The electronic Pen, which, when just above (in prox of) the Pad controls the movement of the

cursor, just like a wireless mouse. When touching the Pen to the Pad, it functions as a left

mouse click (for PC).

The Mobi uses a RF wireless technology.

The operation of your Pad is facilitated by the Workspace software. The Workspace software

has three operational modes: Lesson Mode, Office Mode, and Annotate Over Desktop.

Lesson Mode: The operational mode used by both Pads, allows you to take advantage of

the full power and robust features of the eInstruction/Interwrite system. The Pad, acting as an

input device to the computer, remotely controls the computer from anywhere in the room, and

be able to annotate on top of your computer screen.

Office Mode: Makes it possible to interact directly with Microsoft’s Office suite of

products; PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Annotations, notes and calucations can be added

directly to the native application files in this operational Mode.

Annotate Over Desktop: Allows you to move files/objects, after you have used the

annotation tools.
